- Rescheduling Policy: if a conference is canceled due to a Force Majeure event, the organizers will make efforts to reschedule the conference at a different location on the same date or different dates, depending on venue availability and practicality under the circumstances. In this scenario, the registration fee paid by registrants will be applied to the rescheduled conference, but it will not be refunded. This policy helps ensure that participants' investments are not lost entirely in the event of cancellation but also acknowledges the practical challenges of rescheduling and the financial commitments already made by the organizers
- Transfer of Registration Fee: If the registrants who are unable to attend the rescheduled conference, they are given the option to request a transfer of their registration fee to the conference scheduled for the following year, if it falls within 12 months from the date of the affected/canceled conference. However, the organizers reserve the right to approve or deny such transfer requests, likely to manage logistical and administrative considerations.
- Difference in Registration Fee: If there's a difference in registration fees between the affected/canceled conference and the next year's conference, the registration fee for the next year's conference is higher than the affected conference, the registrant may be required to pay the difference. Conversely, if the fee is lower, they may receive a refund for the excess amount. The adjustment will be made to the credit used for the affected/canceled conference registration, ensuring transparency and clarity in financial transactions.
