About Conference

2^nd International Conference on Obesity and Chronic Diseases (ICOCD-2017) will be held from July 06-08, 2017 in San Francisco, CA, USA. It will provide a dedicated platform to share cutting-edge scientific findings, medical practices and caregiver initiatives related to obesity and various chronic diseases associated with it. It dedicates to create a stage for exchanging the latest research results and sharing the advanced research methods. Our aspiration is to gather the peer researchers, young inspired scientists, academicians and industrialists to meet, discuss and share the knowledge that’s still more to be revealed.

ICOCD-2017 will engage global audience for the exchange of ideas and perspectives for better understanding of origin, development, clinical and translation science to deliver potential cure for obesity. Over the course of 3 days, the series of talks, poster presentations, workshops, discussions and networking events will keep participants engaged in learning and making new connections at ICOCD-2017.

Conference History

The inaugural of International Conference on Obesity and Chronic Diseases was successfully concluded in Las Vegas, USA during July 25-27, 2016. The summit focused to "Discuss Link of Childhood and Adult Obesity to Other Chronic Diseases". The conference witnessed 3 Keynote Speakers, 2 Symposiums, 65 Oral Presentations and 37 Poster Presentations through its 120 attendees from 25 different countries. The special session on "Nutrition and Obesity Grant Opportunities through USDA and NIH" was well appreciated by all the participants of the conference. The conference also provided the platform for Feel Good Incorporation, USA to exhibit their products and services.

The majority of participants (50) came from USA, the top five were USA (50), Korea (11), Mexico (9), Brazil (8) and Canada (8). Figure 1 shows the breakdown of conference attendees, country-wise. The meeting also had participation of international delegates from many developing countries to showcase their research work at the summit.
